It is an e-yantra Lab Setup Initiative (eLSI) by IIT Bombay sponsored by Ministry of Education (MoE). The objective of this initiative is to spread Embedded Systems and Robotics education in colleges across India. KMEA e-Yantra lab is established in the year 2021 with the aim to train teachers and students in the field of robotics and embedded systems.
The “Alumni meet 2018” was conducted on Friday 26th Jan, 2018 at KMEA campus. The occasion was graced by many important personalities and by the alumni members ranging across various batches passed out from the college from 2006 onwards. About 144 Alumni from various branches participated in the function with their family members. A friendly cricket match was arranged between the Alumni and the present students of KMEA before the commencement of the programme.

- e-Yantra Summer Internship program at IIT Bombay for winners of idea competition
The expected outcome in our campus:
- Transform e-Yantra lab into innovation hubs for incubating graduate projects
- Become Centre of Excellence in the field of Robotics and nodal centre for robotics to nearby technical institutions.
- Showcase our student’s innovative ideas across India through e-Yantra competitions
