Engineering Chemistry Lab
The Engineering Chemistry Lab aims to develop the scientific temperament and analytical capability of engineering students through the learning of physical concepts and their application in engineering technology. The main objectives of offering the lab course are to enable the students:
- To interpret objectivity to make rational decisions by understanding the chemical methods employed for element and compound analysis.
- To practice different techniques of quantitative chemical analysis to generate and apply experimental skills in various analyses.
Engineering Physics Lab
The Engineering Physics Lab enables the students to gain practical knowledge regarding the concepts learned about Engineering Physics, thus correlating with the theoretical studies. The main objectives of offering the lab course are to enable the students:
- To achieve excellence in experimental skills and practical application studies, as well as to gain confidence in developing and fabricating engineering and technical equipment.
- To apply reasoning skills confirmed by contextual knowledge in the areas of societal culture, health, safety, and law, thus undertaking the responsibilities relevant to professional engineering practice.
Language Lab
The KMEA Language Lab functions as a gateway for students to experiment with the linguistic concepts and basics of communication they learn in the classrooms, thus equipping them to be well versed in the language skills, namely, reading, writing, listening, and speaking. The main objectives of offering the lab facility are to enable the students:
- To progress in the efficiency with which they communicate with the world around them in their personal and professional lives.
- To practise language skills in a fun and interactive setting
